The Town Council establishes various committees to work on behalf of the council to expediate business at regular council meetings.
Presently, we have the following committees established:
* Finance
* Land Development
* Special Events/Beautification
​ * Human Resources
* Emergency Planning
* Policy & Planning
Committee meetings are called at the notification of each committee chair or mayor.
In addition to these committees, we have council liaison representatives working with :
Fire Department - Rodney Burt,
Heritage Association - Clifford Morgan,
Public Works Department - Roger Tizzard ,
Ambulance Service- Tammy Squires, Clifford Morgan
